Andrea G. Salvador joins Electric Cities of Alabama (ECA) as the Director of Communications and Marketing. Continuing her focus of communication and marketing with an association, Salvador brings a wealth of knowledge in membership development, event planning and public relations to ECA.
Prior to joining ECA, Salvador worked with some of Alabama’s leading associations. Most recently, as the Director of Membership for a healthcare association, Salvador implemented a number of initiatives that generated high retention rates and increased membership by at least ten percent in 2010 alone. By working closely with membership,Salvador has a proven record of developing and maintaining value based relationships across the state of Alabama. In addition to Salvador’s experience in the healthcare industry, she also worked with the Alabama Press Association in Birmingham, Ala. Here, Salvador developed an extensive knowledge of public relations and association operations which will help ECA’s growth in years to come.
Salvador has a degree in Communications Studies and a minor in Political Science from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala. After working in Birmingham, Salvador returned to her hometown of Prattville, Ala., and married her high-school sweetheart, Eric. At home, Salvador enjoys spending time with her husband and tending to their two rambunctious puppies, Toby and Macee.
