DESCRIPTION:Electric Cities of Alabama (ECA) is excited to announce the 2026 Annual Meeting and Governmental Affairs Conference will be held July 5-8\, 2026\, at The Lodge at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores\, Ala! ECA is planning a fun and educational conference with activities the whole family will enjoy! \nRegistration is now open and the early bird rate of $600 per person is available until June 3. Please know the registration fee includes guest attendance at all social events. ECA has reserved a block of rooms at The Lodge with a discounted rate beginning at $329 a night. The deadline to reserve a room at The Lodge is June 3. DESCRIPTION:ECA is in the early planning stages of our Advocacy Day at the Alabama State House (formerly the Montgomery Legislative Reception). We have scheduled the event for Wednesday\, April 1\, 2026. We are updating the event to include a new board luncheon and legislative briefing\, followed by a time of Advocacy at the Alabama State House. The event will conclude with a Legislative Reception at the RSA Plaza Terrace on Wednesday afternoon\, from 4:30 – 6:00. DESCRIPTION:Electric Cities of Alabama (ECA) is pleased to announce the 2026 Washington\, D.C.\, Legislative Meeting is scheduled for February 23-25\, 2026. The host hotel for ECA attendees and invited guests is the Waldorf Astoria Hotel\, Washington\, D.C. at the group rate of $480 per night. A booking link will be sent next week. \nRegistration for the event is open and can be reached by clicking here. A registration fee of $425.00 per registrant includes lunch Tuesday at the Capitol Hill Club and ECA’s Tuesday night Congressional Dinner at Oceanaire Seafood Room.  In addition\, Energy Southeast will host a dinner for all attendees Monday evening. \nFor those that would like to attend the American Public Power Association Legislative Rally\, please know ECA event dates will coincide with this conference however events will overlap. The GM Retreat is reserved fo General Managers only\, however the Fairness PAC Clay Shoot is open to all members and vendors. \nECA’s Fairness PAC will host a luncheon Friday followed by the annual clay shoot. Please make plans to attend this important event to support not only the Fairness PAC but also the many sponsors that make this event possible. \nTo register for the Spring GM Retreat\, please click here. DESCRIPTION:Each year during the Regular Session of the Alabama Legislature\, ECA hosts a Legislative Meet and Greet Reception at the RSA Plaza Terrace in Montgomery. The Meet and Greet allows member cities the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with elected officials from across the state\, as well as representatives from the Governor’s office\, Lt.
