ECA provides members with several publications to enhance public relations and communications of public power within the state of Alabama.

ECA has an established mutual aid program through which member cities aid fellow member cities. Should the need arise, ECA will also coordinate all out-of-state requests and response to natural disasters.

Through Federal, state and local regulations, as well as proposed legislation, ECA strives to ensure member cities can continue to provide reliable and low cost public power.
